We supplied and installed a Vaillant 7kW air source heat pump to replace an existing gas boiler system at a property in Canton, Cardiff. The system was installed as part of a full back-to-brick renovation which was being carried out by the customer. The customer already had good levels of loft & cavity wall insulation coupled with new glazing throughout.

The system was connected to a new radiator system which was installed as part of the renovation.

"Although there were some extra things to think about compared to getting a new gas combi boiler, I am very happy that I had my heat pump installed. I wouldn’t call myself an Ecowarrior but it is a nice feeling knowing that I am doing my bit for the environment and that I’m using 4 times less energy than if I had stuck with gas. My home is all electric now so I was able to get rid of my gas meter which means I could also remove my standing charge for Gas. The bills have been very affordable even when energy prices were hiked and it’s also so nice to come back to a warm home every evening."
