Our heat pump design, quotation and installation process

Design

On initial enquiry we will ask for plans of the property to enable us to do a full, room by room heat loss assessment to ensure that we correctly size the equipment. If the building is existing and no plans are available, we will usually use the EPC (Energy Performance Certification) to provide a preliminary design and quotation. If you are then interested in pursuing further, we will arrange a site survey which will allow us to calculate the heat requirement of the building.

Quotation

You will be provided with a full, no-obligation quotation. We do not charge for site visits or ask for a deposit before firming up any preliminary quotations provided. We want to ensure that you are fully aware of the costs entailed and the works involved before you are happy committing to the project. Within our quotation you will find details of expected carbon savings, running costs, material specifications, etc.

Project Management

Once your order has been received, you will be allocated a project manager who will oversee your project until completion. Our design team will produce installation drawings and issue them to you for approval. We will arrange a project site visit to walk through the job and make sure that everything is finalised before installation.

For new build or renovation projects this will also give us a chance to meet with your builder/electrician/plumber etc to make sure everybody is on the same page and the installation can run as smoothly as possible with everybody understanding their scope of works.

We will confirm a date for our installation and will order the materials accordingly.

Install

All of our installations are carried out by our in-house heat pump engineers. The core of our installation team has been with us for long time & they take huge pride in their work.

Commission & Handover

Once the heat pump has been set to work, we like to let the system run for a couple of weeks before returning to carry out a commissioning & handover visit. At this visit our commissioning engineer will carry out checks on the system and tweak any settings to maximise running efficiency. This will also be the best time for you to raise any questions you may have about the system whilst you are getting used to the new controller etc.

Servicing & Aftersales

We have a dedicated aftersales and servicing team. We offer an annual service to all of our own customers. and will continue to provide telephone and site support after your system has been installed as required.
