MCS Accreditation
The Microgeneration Certification Scheme provides assurances and accreditation of renewable energy systems, technologies and products as well as installers themselves.
The Microgeneration Certification Scheme is internationally recognised and the MCS provides a global mark of high quality and competency on all products that meets a robust set of standards and rigorous testing.
The MCS also accredits installers of microgeneration technologies and assesses the supply, design and installation of renewable energy systems ensuring that the customer receives the correct solution for their needs. It is important that the your installer follows these standards and procedures are followed throught the design, supply and installation to ensure this.
The Microgeneration Certification Scheme is also linked to further policies such as the Boiler Upgrade Scheme and other financial incentive schemes.
